As of July 1, 2020, a preferential VAT rate of 8% may be applied to repair and maintenance services for medical devices, provided the customer submits the appropriate documentation — a Declaration of Conformity confirming that the device qualifies as a medical device, or a copy of the entry in the URPL register (the Polish Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products).

Technical Inspections
Technomex performs technical inspections of equipment in accordance with the IEC 62353 standard. Each inspection includes an electrical safety inspection and a functional test of the equipment. We confirm that the inspection has been completed by issuing the appropriate reports and recording an entry in the equipment’s service log. We perform technical inspections and repairs nationwide, and travel expenses are included in the price of the inspection.
Trade with Russia and Belarus is cut-off until the end of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Warranty Repairs
The warranty covers defects caused by faulty parts or manufacturing flaws. We recommend delivering the equipment with all accessories, including the power cord, the full set of cables, and all electrodes belonging to the device. For warranty repairs, the cost of shipping the equipment is covered by PHU Technomex.
Post-warranty repairs
Please contact a member of our service department to schedule a service visit. For devices that can be shipped, the customer is responsible for delivering the equipment by any means at their own expense. The customer is informed of the estimated cost before the repair is performed.
