Lightweight without compromise
EVO’s patented stacked-link structure smoothly follows the user’s arm and elbow through their full range of motion, while ensuring proper joint alignment during repetitive movements. Extreme reach positions—such as reaching directly overhead or even into a back pocket for a phone—are made possible by the exoskeleton.
EVO’s adjustable actuators have been proven to perform over a million cycles before needing replacement. The level of assistance for each device can be customized to the user and the task by easily swapping out a set of compact gas springs. Different levels can even be selected for each arm independently, depending on the task.
No batteries needed
Thanks to its independent load path, the EVO features completely separate load-bearing structures for the left and right arms, allowing for full flexibility of the user’s torso and waist, making twisting and bending feel completely natural. The user’s upper body is also completely unrestricted, allowing for unrestricted airflow and leaving plenty of room for a fall arrest harness. The EVO is designed to maintain contact with the user’s body only where absolutely necessary—including the elimination of annoying shoulder straps—while remaining firmly in place during use. As a result, it is more comfortable and cooler to wear than even a backpack, especially in hot environments.
EVO exoskeletons, which require no additional batteries, charging, or electrical power, allow for all-day use without any downtime. It is an assistive device that can be easily activated and controlled asymmetrically using a switch on each arm, enabling users to put on the vest and work without additional assistance.

The entire set of soft components can be replaced in less than 5 minutes. The soft components are removable, so they can be washed or replaced to fit a different operator.
When wearing the EVO, you should only lift the same amount of weight as you would without the device. The EVO provides 5–15 pounds (2.2–6.8 kg) of assistance per arm to boost your natural strength throughout your workday. It is NOT designed to give you superhuman strength, but rather to give you superhuman endurance and reduce fatigue, so you’ll have more energy and less pain at the end of your shift. No matter what load you normally lift—whether it’s 1.8 kg (a torque wrench), 4.5 kg (a component), or even the weight of your own arm—you’ll feel lighter thanks to the extra boost you get from the EVO.
The EVO requires minimal maintenance. Keeping the EVO clean is the most important aspect of maintenance. The recommended maintenance/cleaning schedule and instructions can be found in the user manual.
